Severe Weather —> Power Outages

Over the last month, a lot of the central and eastern states here in the USA have experienced severe weather with tornado outbreaks becoming a regular occurrence. With these storms comes the inevitable power outage. Every power outage has the potential to cost your business money.

Power outages caused by severe weather can last for minutes up-to days. Without the proper UPS system in place, even a short power outage can cost your company expensive downtime while you wait for systems and equipment that could not be properly shut down to reboot. Are you prepared? Do you have protection in place for when the power goes out?

The uninterruptible power supply system is typically used to protect hardware such as computers, data centers, telecommunication equipment, or other electrical equipment where an unexpected power disruption could cause injuries, fatalities, serious business disruption, or data loss. The right UPS system can grant you the necessary time to safely shut down your systems and equipment to avoid any disaster! Quite simply, power outages are bad. Don’t make them worse by being unprepared.

It is important to make sure your business is prepared for power outages. Contact ECS to find out more about how a UPS system can power your business.
