The Texas Exes Fort Worth Chapter’s leaders identify aspiring UT scholars, make them aware of the advantages UT Austin has to offer, and assist them financially whenever possible.

 

The Chapter’s Scholarships Committee meets in the spring of each year to review applications from students who live in the area and expect to enter UT Austin the following summer or fall. Please let the chair of that committee know if you are interested in helping with this recruitment and selection process (see "Contact Us".)

 

Every year the Fort Worth Chapter of the Texas Exes and the Waltrip family give scholarships to incoming freshmen at the University of Texas at Austin.  We recognize the hard work of these students and hope to help them excel in their studies.  Students are chosen based on financial need and scholastic achievement.  Those interested in applying should fill out the application here and attach a school transcript and a letter of recommendation.  Deadline is February 7th.  Scholarships are only given to students who attend the University.  If you have any questions, please call 817-578-0949.
