First Thursdays

On the first Thursday of every month, the Fort Worth chapter gathers to have a little fun. Join your fellow Texas Exes for some good times and good converstion. Make new friends, meet up with old friends, talk football, or network for the future. Just come out and have some fun! (Please check the Calendar for the exact location)

Thirsty Thursdays

On the third Thursday of every month, the Fort Worth chapter gathers to have a little MORE fun. You might be asking... what is the difference between Thirsty Thursday and First Thursday? And the answer is... the date and location!!! It's still just as fun!!! And there are still the same opportunities to reminisce on old times and build new friendships. Just come out and have some MORE fun! (Please check the Calendar for the exact location)

Family Fun Events

Once every month to two months, we try to have a family fun event. These events are open to everyone. However, the main objective is to give our Exes with future Longhorns a chance to join in on something other than a happy hour. It's not about the Exes, it's not about the kids... it's about EVERYONE! The goal is a good time for all ages. (Please check the Calendar for upcoming events)

Philanthropy Events

Every season, the chapter engages in a philanthropy event or some kind of volunteer effort. We feel it's important to give back to the community that gives so much to us. Volunteering with a group of fellow Texas Exes and friends is more than just rewarding... it's A LOT of fun! (Please check the Calendar for upcoming events)

Cowtown Showdown

On the Saturday before the Annual UT vs A&M Football Game we have a festive flag football game and chili cook-off with the local Texas A&M Alumni Group. All proceeds raised are split equally between the two organizations and go towards both groups' scholarship funds.

Holiday Party

This is the last chance of the year to show Santa what a good Longhorn you have been all year and enjoy the spirit of the Holidays. We also take this opportunity to raise funds to be added to our scholarship endowments. (Please check the Calendar for the exact date)

Scholarship Fundraising Dinner

Each spring, we gather on or around March 2, Texas Independence Day, to toast the great state that made our excellent education possible, that had the foresight to establish a "University of the first class". We also take this opportunity to raise funds to be added to our scholarship endowments and/or to be awarded to the best and brightest Fort Worth-area students attending UT Austin. Come and lend a hand or a few dollars!
